
The Delta Teachers’ Association (DTA) offers two annual scholarships to support students pursuing post-secondary education, with a special focus on future educators and children of DTA members.
A $1,200 award is given to a graduating student at each Delta secondary school who plans to enter the teaching profession.
Applicants must apply through their secondary school.
One recipient is selected by each school.

This $1,200 scholarship is awarded to the child of an active DTA member.
📌 Eligibility:
Must be the child of a current DTA member.
Must be graduating from a BC public school in the current school year.
The recipient is selected based on the highest average in Grade 12 courses.
📝 Application Details:
Complete the DTA Scholarship Application by June 30.
Submit an Official Transcript of Grades (from the Ministry of Education) by September 15.
The scholarship will be awarded in October.
