It’s important to read and understand all the policies associated with the PD fund applications. This will help ensure that your application is completed accurately and includes all necessary supporting documents. Properly completed applications can be processed more efficiently for approval. Details on how to receive reimbursement are also provided on the application form itself.
If you have any questions or need further assistance, you can contact Brianna at the DTA office by emailing her at brianna@deltateachers.org or calling 604-946-0391.
The Regular PD Funding Application form is used for conferences and workshops held within Canada or the USA, with a funding cap of $800 per person per year. To apply, ensure that your application is submitted to the DTA office at least 14 days before the event. The only exception is for PSA (Professional Specialist Association) day activities, for which applications must be received by 4:00 pm the day before the activity.

This form is for tracking travel and accommodation expenses related to conferences or workshops attended outside the Metro Vancouver area, but within Canada or the USA. Please list all anticipated expenses, as the form outlines which costs are eligible for reimbursement through the DTA PD Fund. If you’re sharing costs, be sure to include the names of the people you’re sharing with. If multiple individuals are splitting the costs, the total will be divided equally, and each person will be responsible for reimbursing the one who made the payment.
Remember to submit this form along with your Regular PD funding application and, if applicable, your In-School Remedy application.
For any questions, feel free to contact Brianna at the DTA by phone (604-946-0391) or email (brianna@deltateachers.org).

PSA conferences are eligible for PD funding. Your school is expected to co-fund your PD application, and your principal must sign your form. PD applications must be submitted at least 14 days before the conference or workshop, but we make a special exception for PSA day conferences; these must be submitted by 4:00 pm the day before the PSA day. However, it’s still best to submit your application as early as possible! For PSA day conferences only, you can also include membership fees in your application if they are part of your conference fee.
